Covid-19 policies and updates
In accordance with recommendations by the CDC and our dental Associations, and out of concern for our patients, employees and our community we are currently seeing only dental emergency patients. We are committed to our community and are available 7 days per week to assist existing and new patients. We welcome you to call our office if you have any concerns. As healthcare providers in this unprecedented time, our main priority is keeping everyone safe and healthy and give support to our medical community.
The health of our patients and our community is our number one priority.
We recognize this is a difficult time for our community due to the Coronavirus outbreak, and we want to reassure our patients that every decision we make is done with the best interests of our patients, our employees, and our community in mind.
In accordance with the CDC, ADA, and local dental association recommendations, we have decided to temporarily stop all non-emergency dental care. We will remain available for emergency dental care services to existing and new patients.
If you have an appointment for a routine visit or dental treatment scheduled in the next few weeks, we will contact you soon to reschedule it.
If you have a dental emergency, you will be able to reach us by calling our practice phone number 7 days per week. We define a dental emergency as:
• Severe toothache or pain in the mouth
• Broken tooth or restoration
• Swelling in the face or gums
• Trauma or dental injury
• An infection in the gums or teeth
Any patient requiring urgent care should contact the office to talk with one of our doctors prior to visiting. All other patients, please know that we will reestablish routine dental work and scheduled treatments as soon as we feel it is safe and appropriate to do so.
As your local dentist and a healthcare professional, it is our responsibility and duty to ensure the health and safety of everyone within our reach. In order to slow the spread of the Coronavirus, we feel that ceasing regular dental work is the best decision to make at this time. We want you to know that we are carefully monitoring the situation as the COVID-19 diagnosis continues to evolve, and we are taking all recommendations — including local, state and federal guidelines —very seriously.
We are saddened that we have to limit patient care in this manner but we wouldn’t do so if we weren’t absolutely sure it was in the best interest of our community. We look forward to the day we can reopen our regular services and provide you with the high-quality, patient-focused dental care you deserve and trust.
Thank you for your understanding, loyalty and confidence in our care.
